Joseph has had extensive experience in helping first-time home buyers, buyers and sellers. In one of the previous firms, Joseph was part of a team that would conduct home buyers’ seminars to corporate employees so that they would be mentally ready as to what happens every step of the way.
Joseph started his career by networking in the business and professional world by being involved in networking events and attending Chambers of commerce events.
Joseph’s degree is in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State university, which is considered on of the top three state universities in the nation. His engineering knowledge allows him to review the inspection reports and ask the appropriate questions from the inspectors or figure out if further investigation by an engineer is needed. He also worked during college days for his uncle that owned a general contractor’s company, doing remodeling and addition. This has given him an in-depth knowledge about how a house is built, which also helps when reviewing inspection reports.
Finally, Joseph’s background can be an asset when helping clients, Joseph is an Assyrian born in Iran, he moved to Santiago Chile and attended high school in Chile, then he moved to Bay area California where he finished his Bachelor of Science degree. Being able to speak four languages and understand the four cultures he grew up in can be helpful in negotiating with the Realtor representing the buyers or sellers.
Joseph covers Monterey County, Santa Clara County and on some occasions Counties within one hour driving distance.
Joseph has also sat sat on the advisory board as a government affairs committee and professional standard committee where he learnt how he can protect the rights of homeowners.
